Memorious is a program for remembering text that you need to use more than once, so you don’t need to type it more than once. It’s cross-platform and flexible. And you can use it for various categories of text, too.
I designed Memorious for my own use, but I am offering it for free to others, in the hope that they will find it useful. However, you should note that (1) it is provided as-is, with no warrantees whatsoever, and (2) I do not provide tech support.
That said, I welcome feedback on the program, so if you use it, free free to send me comments.
Memorious is distributed using Java Web Start, which provides for one-click installation and automatic updates. If you are for some reason uncomfortable with this, you may e-mail me and request to have the jar files sent via e-mail.
Click the icon to install Memorious. Once you have done that, you will be able to launch it like a normal program.
Here is a sample abbreviations file to use: Memorious.abbreviations.txt. Right-click the link and save the file to the directory where you will put your data file.
For more information on Java Web Start, see the explanation on my Dexter installation page.
