Annelie and I are in for another big change: We're moving to Sweden. She has been offered an excellent job there, and I'm planning to teach part-time while I try to finish my dissertation. An acquaintance of mine who recently learned that I still had not finished remarked (and here you must imagine a heavy Russian accent), "Vow, you are really trying to shake ze vorld viz your dissertation!" Would that that were true, but it's a nice thought. At any rate, come August, my blog will turn to life as an American in Sweden. Which means that in the meantime, I'd better post all the items I have on life in Ann Arbor.
