New site: cendipede.org

As part of my dissertation project, I have created a new website: cendipede.org. My thesis presents a theoretical framework for studying word meaning through syntagmatic relations, called the Corpus-Derived Profiles framework. This framework is designed to be implemented computationally, and I have written a program, CenDiPede, which is an implementation of it in Java. It’s still in alpha stage, and therefore not yet publicly available, but when it’s done, I will distribute both the program and the source code freely at cendipede.org. There’s already a bit of information about the project there, including slide shows and screencast demos.
